Q: Do I need a Boat Licence?

A: No we have boats for both licenced and unlicenced operators.

Q: Do people catch fish?

A: Over 90% of our hires catch fish

Q : Do I need experience in Boats Pedal Boats & Kayaks?

A: No. We can show you how its done and the sheltered waters of Mornington Harbor, Mothers and Scout Beach provide the perfect safe environment to learn.

Q: Do you Provide life Jackets?

A: Yes, including new children's PFD Type 1 jackets

Q: Do I need a fishing Licence?

A: Yes, if your over 18 and under 70 and do not hold a seniors or pensioners card. A fishing Licence can be purchased from www.dpi.vic.gov.au/fishing

Q: Can I drink Alcohol?

A: Yes, The same rules of the road apply on the water. Water police regularly patrol Mornington. 0.05 is the limit for over 21's and under 21 is 0.00, please remember that Drunken passengers will not be tolerated as they are a risk to themselves, staff and the general public. Drink responsably!

Q: I'm under 18 can I hire a boat or Kayak?

A: Yes but you must have a parent of guardian sign the departure form. For Boat Hire under 18's require a restricted boat licence

Q: I run a social club or fitness group, do you do group discounts?

A: Yes just talk to us and we will get you on the water!

Q: How far can I take the boat or Kayak?

A: 2 N miles (6nm for polycraft) from the end of Mornington Pier, or 4.4 km from the shore. With Kayaks we recomend that you stay within the harbour.
